Damosa Gateway was developed by Damosa Land, one of the city's top land developers. It is also a collection of shops, retaurants, banks, burger house, and company offices. Within the area is the Concentrix (formerly Link2Support), one of the biggest IT-based companies in the country. Some establishments includes Mindanao Kokusai Daigaku (Mindanao International College), a Japanese-language educational institution. Inside its compound is the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai School of Davao. Also a good hotel, the Microtel, is an international chain of upper-class inns, opened with a 51-room hotel. In addition, there are also a pharmacy, boutiques, and Internet café within the place. Another arcade to visit in the place is the DAMOSA Market Basket where few souvenirs are available, there are several stalls that offer native items like hand woven sandals and capiz shell lamps. DAMOSA Market Basket is also a good choice for tourists shopping place. Damosa Gateway also holds as venue for many sponsored concerts for local bands and performances.
